The American Legion Auxiliary – McMinnville Unit 21 Scholarship

The American Legion Auxiliary – McMinnville Unit 21 is proud to offer a small scholarship opportunity for students from Willamina, McMinnville, Perrydale, Dayton, and Amity high schools.

This scholarship is aimed at supporting those “average” students—the hard workers who are planning to attend a trade or technical school, or are heading directly into a trade career after graduation.

 Who We're Looking For:

• Students planning to pursue trade/technical school (electrician, welding, HVAC, auto tech, cosmetology, etc.)
   
• Students going straight into the workforce who need tools, boots, hard hats, or other work-related supplies
   
• Students who can provide proof of military service from a parent/guardian, grandparent, or sibling (past or current service)
   

Scholarship Info:

• The award will be over $500
   
• Number of scholarships awarded is still to be determined
   
• We want to support the kids who often get overlooked
   

Application Due:

Second Friday in May
(Please submit your completed application by this date)
